Plexidor Weather Sealed Dog House Door
All of our houses come standard with a vinyl flap door installed but due to the tremendous climate swings across the nation, we have decided to offer an optional upgrade door system that seals the living compartment even better. We researched every dog door manufacturer extensively, comparing quality, warranties, draft analysis, pet security, and door size availability. After careful consideration we have chosen Pet Doors USA, Inc. and their Five Star Plexidor to be the optional upgrade door for our western cedar doghouse.
If you live in an area where summers are excessively hot or winters are extremely cold and your doghouse is insulated, then you need to seriously consider an upgrade Plexidor. Wind gusts and blowing rain or snow can not break the seal on the Plexidor.
If you are considering a DogAire air conditioner/dehumidifier or heated pet mat, the Plexidor needs to be a serious consideration. The DogAire unit will run much more efficiently and the savings in electrical usage alone will pay for the Plexidor. These doors open and close with a gentle push, they are quiet and most important, they are edged with a nylon pile weather seal to provide superior draft proofing. The doors are made of rigid high impact, shatter resistant Plexiglas, set in an anodized heavy duty aluminum frame structure.
Additionally, our Plexidors come with a predator key lock so that you can secure your pet at night from nocturnal predators. All sizes have the predator key lock except the small door which does have a manual latch knob (no key).
Best of all, when you upgrade to the Plexidor, your doghouse arrives with the door already installed, saving you the trouble and expense of putting it in later - a custom fit!.
Please note: The Plexidor must be ordered with a doghouse. It cannot be ordered separately.

Wooden Duplex Dog House Kennels for two or more dogs
Need a house for two or more dogs? Then the Duplex Dog Kennel is for you. Constructed of the highest quality western red cedar wood (not the lower quality Southern White Cedar used by many of our competitors) with 2×2 framing, these duplex kennels are capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions while keeping your dogs cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter. For extra protection, add the Internal Thermal Ply Insulation Option. The Thermal-Ply Insulation lining blocks radiant energy in both summer and winter conditions. It blocks as much as 93% of radiation (summer heat gain) and 50% to 70% of winter heat loss through the ceiling and roof. To ensure long term durability from chewing and clawing, the sidewall insulation is protected by a lightweight mahogany plywood liner. When combined with the PetCool AC/heater option, your dogs will feel like they own their very own castle.
