Insulate your dog house with Thermal Ply Internal Insulation
A little known fact is that more dogs die from overheating (heat stroke) in the summer than from freezing in the winter. That’s why it’s important to ensure that your dog house is properly insulated to protect your pet from the heat of summer! The Thermal-Ply Radiant Barrier from House of Hammocks is designed to complement the natural protection our cedar dog houses provide. It provides protection from the extreme heat of summer and the freezing temperatures of winter. If you choose this option, your new dog house will be delivered with the insulation pre-installed in the floor, ceiling, and all 4 side walls for complete protection. Protection from hot weather is particularly important for cold weather dogs, including Labs, German Shepards, Rottweilers, Retrievers and many dogs bred for hunting. With Thermal Ply insulation, you can block out as much as 93 % of the summer heat gain. To ensure long-term durability from chewing and clawing, a lightweight mahogany plywood liner protects the ceiling and sidewall insulation.
